SEPE

Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness is a brand new qualification to EDLounge. Your students can achieve a qualification on their 14th birthday (though work can be done prior to being 14 and can qualify as soon as they are 14) through the EDEXCEL SEPE qualification.

The SEPE qualification is 5 credits and 50 guided learning hours and is the ideal progression in to Workskills for your Year 8 and 9 students who are struggling with certain lessons/school/attending and working with others. In order to pass this unit, the evidence that the learner presents for assessment needs to demonstrate that they use effective communication skills; make a positive contribution within a team; demonstrate employability skills in a group project; and know how to reflect on personal effectiveness skills and qualities for employability, developed in the context of a group project. We incorporate Music, DJing, MCing and Media into the SEPE Qualification and have had a few great pilots with this formula.

The learner must achieve a pass within all topics and lessons within EDLounge and submit independent coursework, which they have to complete with our assessment briefs. We give them practical sessions alongside introductory lessons, knowledge lessons and lessons to test their understanding of what they have been focusing on and then they submit their assignments online, all tasks are completed and uploaded.

All coursework files must be submitted in an appropriate presentation format, this is required so that all tasks, objectives, outcomes and assessment criteria are achieved.

Please call us on 01909 568 338 for more information regarding this SEPE qualification.
