PSD

Personal Social Development is a new qualification within EDLounge. We offer both Levels 1 and 2 for PSD (EDEXCEL).

We offer these levels for the award, Certificate and Diploma. You and your students can pick and mix your units, enabling students to achieve the maximum number of credits and guided learning hours.

PSD enables learners to develop their personal and social development skills whilst gaining confidence and self-esteem independently through EDLounge.

The units that the students complete are: Understanding Personal Identity; Healthy Lifestyles; Managing Personal Risk; Personal and Social Relationships; Exploring the Impact of Diversity in our Communities; Career Progression; Financial Capability; Managing Financial and Career Risk; Economic and Business Understanding; The Role of the Individual in a Democratic Society; Government and Justice; Rights and Responsibilities of a Citizen in a Democracy; The Changing Nature of Society in the United Kingdom; Worldwide Citizenship; Skills for Employment; Making Informed Career and Progression Choices; Opportunities in Learning and Work; Understanding Careers and Employment through Experiences of Work; Learning from More Experienced People; How and Why Businesses Operate; Working Practices and Environments; Self-development for Your Career; Exploring Career Choices; Career Management; Planning an Enterprise Activity; and Running an Enterprise Activity.

PSD works alongside Workskills, Money and Finance, Sustainability skills and our SEPE qualifications.
