The EDLounge Home Cooking lessons and EDEXCEL qualifications are currently being phased in, for Levels 1 and 2.

This qualification teaches Essential Life Skills, that have benefits to Health and Wellbeing, working perfectly alongside Workskills, PSD, SEPE, Money and Finance, and Sustainability Skills for the foundation learner.

The lessons within this subject include, an introduction to cooking at home, home cooking lessons that develop the students knowledge, understanding lessons of food, cooking and healthy lifestyles alongside developing skills, procedures and techniques used within the course. The EDLounge home cooking resource enables relevant coursework files to ascertain the student’s levels of attainment through their knowledge and understanding. There are various different types of media files, lessons and clips to enable student's to independently learn and progress through the Home Cooking modules.
