 | EDLounge allows all ranges of students to earn virtual money through completing lessons, revision quizzes, coursework and tasks. The money enables the students to spend their money developing their own enterprise. Every student becomes a CEO of Edville, their main job is to focus on 4 enterprises: A garage, a sports centre, a health spa and a shopping and retail park.
Here they will make managerial decisions to build up their enterprise and turn it into a flourishing business. As their enterprises earn revenue, the student will be rewarded with virtual money. This money can be spent however they want... But the best way is to improve your enterprise and do lessons so that treats, games and red letter days start coming through their front door.
Students can also independently learn through a number of lessons and complete coursework to gain an Edexcel Workskills Qualification.
These lessons can be found in different areas within the CEO's office, along with career and health and safety lessons.
These types of lessons will help a student understand certain career choices, preparation and knowledge for working life.
This method means that your students feel the importance of working through lessons to gain credits and money to spend on games, their own house or their enterprises of Sports Centre, Garage, Shopping Complex and a Hair and Beauty Salon.
