DJing & MCing
Over recent months we have incorporated Music, DJing, MCing and Media into EDLounge, but especially through the Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness (SEPE) Qualification.
The Supporting Employability and Personal Effectiveness qualification, is brand new to EDLounge. The SEPE qualification is 5 credits and 50 guided learning hours and is the ideal progression into Workskills for your Year 8 and 9 students who are struggling with certain lessons/school/attendance and working with others. In order to pass this unit, the evidence that the learner presents for assessment needs to demonstrate that they can use effective communication skills; make a positive contribution within a team; demonstrate employability skills in a group project and know how to reflect on personal effectiveness skills and qualities for employability, developed in the context of a group project (DJing / MCing / Production).
Allowing students to learn the skills of DJing / MCing and Media Production online, to prepare them for practical sessions. We also include introductory lessons, knowledge lessons and lessons to test their understanding of what they have been focusing on. Then they submit and upload their assignments online, when all tasks are completed.
All coursework files must be submitted in an appropriately presented format. This is required to achieve all task, objective, outcome and assessment criteria.
