EDLounge Cover offers a unique provision, where any school wishing can save money on their budget, by offering a brand new approach to delivering ‘cover sessions’, whilst simultaneously reducing teacher stress by not having to cover their absent colleagues lessons.

This unique model is our secret and has been produced through the vision of a focus group of Head Teachers, Bursars, Cover Supervisor Management and SLT. The resource reduces the pressure placed on teachers and saves substantial amounts of budget, allowing all aspects of teaching and learning to be adhered to. Whilst working with the focus group, it was made paramount that all aspects of the students teaching and learning follow clear pathways and achieving specific objectives whilst under supervision was the key. Whilst this is simply achieved through using EDLounge Cover software other departmental and curriculum materials can be taught through the process to match department planning, schemes of work, and medium, short and long term plans.

Please note: Through the use of the EDLounge Cover software we will reduce the excessive burdens of planning, preparation and assessment on those teachers who are covering absence. The setting of work, pathways and marking the work is easy and does not break any protocols. Our EDLounge Cover software ENABLES you to track, record and to provide details of work to be undertaken or completed by pupils. The information can be provided by the Head of Department/Subject Co-ordinator, SLT, Head teacher.
