EDLounge allows all ranges of students to earn virtual money through completing lessons, revision quizzes, coursework and tasks. The money enables the students to spend their money developing their own enterprise. Each student selects a place of work ( currently 4 options available ).
Here they will make managerial decisions to build up their enterprise and turn it into a flourishing business. As their enterprises earn revenue, the student will be rewarded with virtual money. This money can be spent however they want... But the best way is to improve your enterprise and do lessons so that treats, games and red letter days start coming through their front door.
This method means that hopefully your students feel the importance of working through lessons to gain credits and money to spend on games, their own house or their enterprises of Sports Centre, Garage, Shopping Complex or a Hair and Beauty Salon.
More hidden credits and money can be gained through the more learning they do; the employees they choose to employ; the decisions they make in the boardroom; and the resources they choose to buy and the feel good factor of their environment
